Best Fashion writes about style, fabric, and shopping for a general audience. That only works if you can trust what is on the page. Here is exactly how our guides get made, where our facts come from, and how we keep our recommendations honest.

How an article is made

We are open about our process. Every guide follows the same path:

• We choose the topic and the angle. A person decides what is worth covering and what question the piece should answer - not an algorithm chasing search terms.
• AI assists the first draft. We use AI tools to help draft and structure the writing. That draft is raw material, never the finished article.
• A human edits, checks, and signs off. An editor rewrites for accuracy and voice, verifies the factual claims, removes anything unsupported, and approves the piece before it publishes. Nothing goes live unread.
• The editor is accountable. Joy Jacob is responsible for what appears on Best Fashion. If something is wrong, that is on us to fix.

How we source fashion facts

Style writing is full of confidently repeated myths, so we hold factual claims to a real standard:

• Claims about fibres and fabrics - how linen breathes, how wool behaves, what a blend does - are grounded in reputable textile and manufacturer sources, not folklore.
• Care and washing guidance follows recognised laundry-symbol standards and established care practice, and we always tell you to defer to the garment's own label.
• Fashion history and terminology is attributed to credible references rather than presented as received wisdom.
• We never fabricate statistics, studies, or quotes. If we cannot stand behind a number, we leave it out or clearly frame it as general observation.

Independence

Our recommendations reflect editorial judgement, full stop. We do not accept payment to feature, praise, or rank a product, brand, or retailer. There is no pay-for-coverage, and advertising sold through Google AdSense is kept entirely separate from editorial decisions. What we suggest is what we would suggest to a friend.

Corrections

We would rather be right than look right. If you find an error - a wrong fabric fact, a misread care symbol, an out-of-date detail, a broken link - email hello@dhumketu.space with the article and the specific line. We check it, and if it is wrong we fix it promptly. Significant corrections are made openly rather than quietly buried.

Affiliate policy

Best Fashion earns money two ways: display ads through Google AdSense, and a smaller amount through affiliate links. When an article links to a retailer and you buy something through that link, we may earn a small commission - at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is the same as if you had gone to the retailer directly.

The rule we hold ourselves to is simple: a commission never changes a recommendation. We do not choose products because they pay more, we do not rank them higher for it, and we do not soften an opinion because there is a link attached. If something is not worth buying, we say so - link or no link. Not every link is an affiliate link, and where a page relies on them we make that plain. If a recommendation and a payout ever pull in different directions, the recommendation wins.
